I REALLY ENJOYED AND LOVED VALENTINE VISION. THIS IS TORI'S STORY. SHE IS A MODEL WHO WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT THAT CHANGES HER LIFE. TORI LOSES HER CAREER AND HER SELF-ESTEEM DUE TO THE SCAR ON HER FACE. SHE THINKS SHE IS UGLY AND CAN'T FIND A MODELING JOB. TORI FINDS A JOB AS A PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO A BLIND SON OF AN OIL TYCOON MARK HAS NOT ALWAYS BEEN BLIND BUT HE HAS ADJUSTED WELL TO IT. WHEN MARK AND TORI MEET FOR THE FIRST TIME, THERE IS INSTANT CHEMISTRY AND ATTRACTION BETWEEN THEM. TORI AND MARK FIND THEMSELVES FALLING IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER. WILL MARK STILL FEEL THE SAME WAY ABOUT TORI ONCE HIS EYESIGHT IS RESTORED OR WILL HE REJECT HER?
TORI AND MARK ARE BOTH LOST SOULS IN A WORLD THAT IS NOT PERFECT. TAMMY DOES A WONDERFUL JOB OF SHOWING THIS IN HER WRITING. THERE ARE ALOT OF IMPERFECTIONS IN LIFE BUT IT DOESN'T MAKE US WHO WE ARE. PEOPLE TEND TO JUDGE PEOPLE ON WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE AND NOT WHAT IS INSIDE OF THEM. VALENTINE VISION SHOWS THAT THE REAL PERSON INSIDE IS THE ONE WHO IS BEAUTIFUL NOT THE ONE WHO IS ON THE OUTSIDE TORI AND MARK LEARN WHO THEY ARE AS THEY GET TO KNOW WHAT ANOTHER. I FELT THEY WERE BOTH GOOD FOR EACH OTHER AND BROUGHT OUT THE BEST IN THE OTHER ONE. THEIR LOVE IS SPECIAL AND UNIQUE. I REALLY ENJOYED BOTH CHARACTERS. THEY HAD PERFECT CHEMISTRY.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A TOUCHING LOVE STORY THAT WILL MAKE YOU SMILE AND ALSO BRING TEARS TO YOUR HEART, I RECOMMEND VALENTINE VISION. ANOTHER EXCELLENT STORY BY THE AWESOME TAMMY. LOOKING FORWARD TO READING MORE OF HER BOOKS AS ALWAYS.
I loved this book!! Absolutely loved it! Right up there with my Tammy favorite Blake from the Mac Brothers (another must read).
Tori is a model or was. After being injured in a bad automobile accident, and left with a permanent and prominent facial scar. She is, rightly so self conscious about her appearance and tries to avoid looking at magazines as they remind her of her life before. Tori is getting a little low on funds and starts to look for a job and while scanning the ads sees one for a personal assistance to a visually impaired man. She calls. Gets her interview and is hired. I'm leaving out lots of small details that are the essence of the story, because you need to read it for yourself. The two live in close proximity and Tori's sassy nature is a good match for Mark's wise guy, stubborn streak. Mark lost his vision in a plane crash on the way home from a business trip. Mark also has a driver, who is his best friend as well. I liked Vic the driver as well. He and Mark made me laugh.
As things heat up between Tori and Mark he decides to take her up to his family's cabin a couple hours away, there's an incident on the long driveway in while trying to cross a creek and Tori gets Mark to safety, returns to the car to fetch their bags and they walk up to the house. After a wonerful and steamy night together, the next morning he tells her they're returning to the city, Vic is coming to get them and she's fired. He fires her! Wow did he make me mad, because you aren't quite sure in the moment why. You later find out. Tori is crushed. The drive back is silent.
Meanwhile her mother sends her a plane ticket to come home (for a month) and she figures that even though her mother scammed her a little, she needs the time away from Mark so she can plan a future for herself. Meanwhile, Mark is bent because of how he ended things and sulks. But gets some news from his eye doctor to try a new procedure to restore his vision. After a few failed attempts, Mark is still willing because he is driven by the thought of "seeing" Tori.
Almost a month goes by and it's the night of her mothers big party and Mark shows up and Tori makes him leave. He knew that was a risk, but was willing to chance it. Tori returns home and Vic pays her a visit. And that's it from me... no more story because you truly will want to read this for yourself.
I'm not sure how Tammy weaves such a wonderful, enthralling and pretty steamy story and it just ropes me right in there with the characters. She keeps your attention and I love the way she writes. I wish more authors wrote the way she does. That's the truth. The woman could write on a napkin and I'd read it. And the end of the book is heaven!
It deserves more than 5 stars. Put it on your TBR list!

What beautiful model wouldn’t die to have a contract with a top of the line producer of an expensive perfume?
Tori McBride is that woman; however it was something that was never meant to be. No sooner than she had she signed her contract with Herrick’s Cologne that fate decides to step in and destroy her dream from ever becoming a reality.
Six months after her horrendous car accident in which she had gotten flung out of her car through the windshield, and left with a six-inch facial scar; Tori’s bank account has gotten nearly depleted, leaving her with a desperate need of a job, any job. Tori begins classical search to find one by checking out the classified ads praying there would be one which didn’t require that the applicant need to be good looking.
Her prays got answered when she found one wanting a Personal Assistant to the blind son of a wealthy businessman. Tori, who didn’t care what he would look like especially since he couldn’t see her, got presently surprise when he turned out to be a real charmer, witty and delectably handsome.
Mark loved Tori’s personality, especially the plucky attitude she possessed, something he never had imagined getting in his assistant. Mark basically knew that his condition would be a temporary one, so naturally he had a developed a preconceived idea of what his assistant actually would look like. So when his eyesight gets restored will he still be infatuated with Tori once he sees what she actually looks like. And will Tori have the rug pulled from under her from a promising existence once that happens.
Both Tori and Mark have their individual impediments which have been making their lives less than what they really like them to be. Fate as made each of their individual needs bearable, but only if they’re willing to accept each other for whom and what they are. For having given her readers an emotional yet hopeful story, I’ve given Ms. Tate 5 STARS for her endeavor here.
