Play out the hand her way…or fold?

Three of a Kind, Book 2

After four years, Megan Loxley has given up waiting for her best friend, Desmond Reed, to realize she loves him. It’s time to move on. When Des introduces her to his poker buddy, Alex Truman, the instantaneous sparks that flare between them signal her life is about to change forever.

Des could kick himself. How could he have failed to notice the perfect woman was by his side all this time? Now it’s too damn late. And her innocent prodding about why he’s suddenly so distant is only making his hunger for her worse. Then she gets one step too close—and his self-restraint snaps.

Stunned, bewildered, furious, Meg can’t help but respond to the kisses for which she waited so long. God help her, she loves Des. And Alex, too. Immeasurably. Now what?

It may make her the greediest woman alive, but she’s determined to win the next hand— even if she has to change the game a little. First step state her wildly sexy proposition in a language both men will understand…and hope they’ll stick around and play by her rules.

Warning If you’re looking for a cool game of poker, you won’t find it here. This novella is so hot the cards are still smoking. The heroine may be new to the game, but she knows exactly how to play her two kings.

Its hard when you are in love with your best friend and have no idea that he feels the same. Des did not realize what he had until someone else, a friend, opened his eyes to the beauty and love that was there for him the entire time if he would of just taken it. In a way I felt that Meg was forcing the issue of three, but I also felt that Alex loved whole heartedly enough to give his heart and unconditional love to Meg and acceptance of Des. It may or may not work but it was a good story. Relationships grow and flow at different levels but as long as ther is open communication that is honest and filled with love and not jealousy things can work. I liked that it does not flow easily and there is the complexity of what one traditionally believes they want and exploring other options outside of their comfort box. Trio's of any kind are work and the best kinds of love start with friendship or grow into friendship with the intense physical love to go along with it.

Needed more background to be believable. Liked it till the end
The girl is shallow would make a good whore
This was a great novel as far as turbulance & fighting relationships & what the general public thinks normal is!
I enjoyed the writing skill and the two male partners, but for some reason the female character just erked me to no end. I felt like she was manipulating both of the heros. I felt like she didn't really care how either of the men felt as long as they both agreed to being with her. And they both loved her so much they would do anything to stay with her, even put up with sharing her. They constantly gave her hints that they were not happy, but she just ran over there feelings.

I guess I just like it better when all parties are agreeable to the situation and that nobody feels like they are being forced. It just seems like a situation that will not last.
I Loved these books and can't wait to read more
Awesome book.
I love Jess Dee. Very sexy books.
I felt a little bad for one of the heroes in this book. Basically, a woman is best friends for 4 years with one guy and meets another that she begins to date and gives up on loving him. Then decides she wants both. Overall a good read (hence the three stars) but I had a hard time getting totally into it when the men seemed reluctant to share. I found myself feeling bad for the heroes and frustrated.
